Technology has come a long way since the days of the Rolodex and fax machine, but not everyone has traveled along with it.
As a virtual worker in 2015, you can work from anywhere in the world with a laptop and a solid Internet connection. Who wants to lug around a fax machine? If you work from your home office, you likely prefer to keep your desk uncluttered of nearly obsolete machinery.
So what do you do when a client asks you to “fax over” some information?
It’s not 1993! Hasn’t email replaced the need for a fax machine? How do you even go about sending a fax, anyway? Go to the library? This all seems unnecessary.
Luckily for you, the folks at FaxZero have created a free tool that allows you to send faxes online from anywhere in the world.
Here’s How It Works
Step 1) Go to FaxZero.com and fill out the sender and receiver information on the fax form.
Step 2) Type the text of your fax into the provided text box or attach a file. Include your valid email address and type the confirmation code.
Step 3) Click the “Send Free Fax Now” button to send your fax, or send an “Almost Free Fax” if you need to fax more than three pages.
Step 4) Check your email for a confirmation message from FaxZero. Click the URL in the message; the message will not be faxed until you do. (If you don’t see the email, check your spam filter.) You will receive an email when your fax is delivered.
And that, friends, is how you can send a fax for free without a fax machine.
